Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Thar Car Rental Self Drive services. By booking or using our vehicles, you agree to these Terms in full.
1. Booking & Documentation
- The renter must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid driving license.
- A government-issued ID (such as Aadhaar or Passport) must be provided for verification.
- Booking confirmation is subject to vehicle availability and verification of submitted documents.
2. Security Deposit
A refundable security deposit of ₹5,000 must be paid at the time of vehicle hiring. This amount is refundable after vehicle inspection, provided there are no damages, penalties, or traffic violations.
3. Vehicle Usage
- The vehicle must only be driven by the authorized person listed in the rental agreement.
- Smoking, illegal activities, or reckless driving are strictly prohibited.
- Renters are responsible for traffic violations, tolls, and parking charges incurred during the rental period.
4. Fuel Policy
Vehicles are provided with a certain level of fuel and must be returned with the same amount. Additional fuel charges may apply if returned with less fuel.
5. Damage & Liability
- The renter is responsible for any damage caused to the vehicle during the rental period.
- In case of accident or breakdown, the renter must immediately inform Thar Car Rental Self Drive.
- Insurance coverage applies only if rental terms and driving conditions are adhered to.
6. Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Bookings canceled more than 24 hours before the trip are eligible for a partial refund.
- Last-minute cancellations may incur charges.
- Security deposit refunds are processed within 48–72 hours after vehicle return and inspection.
7. Responsibility
Thar Car Rental Self Drive is not liable for loss of personal belongings, delays due to traffic or mechanical issues, or indirect damages caused by vehicle use.
8. Jurisdiction
All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in New Delhi, India.
